Main and additional pole coils (poles in assembly)
Pole coils are used in DC machines and synchronous equipment. We have all the means to manufacture and supply pole coils for various types of electric machines according to our own drawings, customer's requests, or samples. We have an extensive database of project documentation.

Stages of production:

There are wire and busbar pole coils. Wire coils are produced from insulated wire, busbar coils – from bare rectangular copper wire. Stepped coils are used when there's not enough space between poles.

Busbar coils are winded using specialized machines which makes lateral bending challenging without specialized equipment. Thanks to our production capabilities, we are able to fulfill such orders with the highest possible quality. All coils are produced according to custom-made templates.

Insulation is applied to coils made of bare copper wire in accordance with technical specifications. Then the coils are impregnated with special compounds and varnishes in vacuum units. Afterwards, they are dried in special furnaces. Each manufactured coil undergoes quality control including visual inspection and inter-turn insulation testing. Coil leads are soldered with soft or hard solders in accordance with the standards.

Testing follows a pre-determined program:

  • visual inspection;
  • inter-turn insulation testing (performed with high frequency pulse voltages);
  • testing of electrical strength of the insulation (if there is body insulation);
  • DC resistance measurement.
