To launch the new project, an end flattening and facing press, an induction heater and additional tooling were purchased and new employees were hired.
The new type of section is necessary for small collectors of traction machines where conventional sections will not fit due to the lead ends. Each armature section has four elemental sections arranged flat in the groove and consisting of a single copper conductor.
Technical capabilities
The conductors are turned 90° and flattened to a thickness of 1.4 mm as they enter the collector loops, ensuring that the sections can be laid quickly.
